Overall purpose of role
The role holder will be responsible for supporting a team of Investment Advisors and Private Bankers. The role holder’s focus will be to provide effective administration support to their Investment Advisors and Private Bankers, as well as a world class service to our clients, delivering key servicing standards that support acquisition and retention and growth.
Support to Investment Advisors in production of client pitches and proposals
Support to Sales Management team with MI production and data analysis
Support to Private Banking and Investment Advisory teams with general administration
Act as point of contact for clients for general servicing requirements
Coordinate international travel for Bankers and Investment Advisors
Ensuring at all times that all activities are performed in line with policy and process
Stakeholder Management and Leadership
Key stakeholders will include Private Banker and Investment Advisory teams, Chief Controls Office and direct support to local management team including COO and CEO.Strong relationships will need to be built with external services providers and functional partners (Compliance, Financial Crime) and product specialists based internationally in locations including Geneva, India and London.
Decision-making and Problem Solving
Evaluative judgement and very strong analytical skills are essential in this role.
Risk and Control Objective
Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.
Strong technical knowledge of Private Banking products, services and proposition.Excellent knowledge of financial markets and macro economic landscape.Fluency in tools such as Bloomberg / Reuters terminals.Comfort in producing external facing presentaitons using Powerpoint.
The right candidate will posses integrity as well as good personal and interpersonal skills and will demonstrate excellent organisational, time-management, and customer service skills.They will have the ability to communicate effectively and confidently with both internal and external staff, both verbally and in writing.The successful candidate will be a positive team player who is motivated and driven to deliver world class service to clients and colleagues, and make a positive supportive impact as we strive to maximise business revenue.
Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level in a relevant filed, and preferably hold a finance related qualification such as CFA.
