Innovate with us as you develop your commercial marketing skills through delivering fully integrated commercial brand plans, working closely with the Trade Marketing, Insights & Planning and Sales teams. Grow with us as you get exposure to setting the brand agenda and plan ownership.
This is a great opportunity to take accountability for setting and delivering the NSV budget by placing the consumer / shopper at the center of our plans, which is important in developing and executing the right plans.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
In your role as Assistant Brand Manager you will be part of our success by:
  • Delivering NSV budget commitments for assigned brands
  • Delivering the commercial strategy and execution for each assigned brand
  • Identifying, diagnosing and solving brand-level performance issues
  • Building local support plans with the Trade Marketing Team that ensure we hit our brand and innovation objectives, adding the appropriate “local magic”
  • Providing necessary inputs to the S&OP process for assigned brands
  • Providing brand-level support to the category BU on innovation stage gates, media plans and brand check ins
  • Enabling and supporting the Sales teams to drive a winning agenda with distributors for the brands
WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?
Required
  • Experience working within the Food industry (agency or client side)
  • Leadership – ability to influence across organizational boundaries
  • Experience required – brand activation experience; familiarity with the innovation process; brand development experience to ensure familiarity with brand equity tools, communications, media mix
  • Marketing Mix Management – Allocating resources to each element across the mix consistent with brand objectives and strategies, marketplace demands, and Kellogg financial requirements
  • Agency Management – experience in identifying creative solutions in line with the brand communication plan
  • Forecasting and Learning – Disciplined approach to all activities that involves setting goals, predicting outcomes, tracking performance, and drawing on learnings for the future
  • Business Analytics – familiarity with brand and market share tracking tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or equivalent
  • Fluency in English
Preferable
  • Fluency in Arabic is a plus
