Sales Manager – OEM & Workshops

Job Purpose
Responsible for co-ordinating sales activities for strategically important Key Accounts, delivering the strategic plan to meet the business’ growth aspirations and supporting the development of key account sales strategies to maximise profitability and sales opportunities.
The scope of the role will influence the grade – this can include financial accountability, geographical scope, leadership responsibilities and overall level of responsibility.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Executes the annual and multi-year strategic plans for the Key Account team, supporting the development of sales strategies to improve the whole value chain and ensure excellent standards and delivery to customer.
  • Manages the Key Account sales pipeline to ensure the appropriate sales activity level and collaborates across functions to integrate and simplify systems and processes to improve the value proposition.
  • Manages business relationships on a local level to support channel goals and develops processes for effective prospecting, lead tracking, sales and customer service.
  • Influences Key Account distributors to achieve optimal coverage of the geographic sales region, as applicable, and communicates productivity statistics to the team.
  • Supports the sales capabilities agenda for the Key Account team and drives a ‘winning culture’, whilst providing effective leadership, direction, coaching and mentoring to a team of direct reports.
  • Complies with BP’s Code of Conduct and models BP’s Values & Behaviours.

Requirements:

  • Graduate, MBA preferred
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in B2B/OEM sales/Industrial sales including Direct and Distributor Sales
  • Customer and key account management experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Arabic language skills are preferred
