The BMS Supervisor will be responsible to handle building management control systems as part of customer orders incorporating the supply, design, installation and commissioning of building management control systems. The BMS Supervisor will be totally responsible for the Program / Commission of projects.

  • Coordinate and to complete shop drawings.
  • Site coordination with both consultant and client.
  • Manage subcontractors.
  • Manage and to issue the delivery notes and purchase requests.
  • Program the controllers of JCI, PLC, etc. and to handle the integration between the systems.
  • Pre-Commission, commission and demonstrate control systems and field controls.
  • Fault-finding, troubleshooting and handing over the project.
  • Write and commission software and graphics when required to meet job specifications.

The BMS Supervisor will report to the Project Manager however, channels exists for direct communication with the other member from the senior leadership team at weekly meetings or as and when required.

To be a successful in this role, you should have a diploma / bachelor’s degree apecialised in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics or a equivalent related qualification. Minimum of 4 years’ relevant GCC experience in BMS project handling and commissioning. Prior experience in installation and commissioning of JCI System. Previous experience in handling medium, large to major projects which include BMS systems. Excellent knowledge & experience in HVAC applications and products. UAE Driving licence will be an added advantage.

The ideal candidate will have to have a previous track record of leading a team of supervisors, technicians, strong management skills. Drive to continuously upgrade on current industry standards, best practice; demonstrate high standard HSE Practices.
The BMS Supervisor will have to demonstrate excellent leadership qualities, be customer focused and be able to handle multiple and often conflicting priorities. It is essential the incumbent should have excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style. Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment. Have the ability to look at situations from several points of view. Delegate responsibilities effectively. Excellent problem analytical skills and problem simulation. Should have a high comfort level working in a diverse environment. Open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done. Manage cross-functional relationships effectively. Strong verbal and writing skills, with regards to contractual communication. People management skills & problem solving skills. Excellent managerial & administrative skills however at the same time hands on with day to day business operations. Detail oriented and good reporting skills. Establish clear lines of communication both internally & externally. Strong commercial expertise in driving business results.
