Operations Supervisor – General Transport
About the Position:
We are currently looking for an Operations Supervisor – General Transport to work for Al Futtaim Logistics in Dubai. This role is accountable for leading, motivating and driving the operational teams to achieve daily operational and business targets to an agreed operating plan and budget. You will deliver to agreed service levels and ensure compliance of all KPI targets. This position will also require analyses of business data and provides analysis reports and KPIs.
Reporting to the Business Sector Manager, your key responsibilities are as follows:
- Drivers and vehicles allocation
- Minimize outsourcing of labor and equipment hire
- Improve drivers and vehicles utilization
- Maintain and update SOPs
- Drive improvement projects and initiatives
- Implement process digitalization
Customer Satisfaction and Relationship Management
- Follow monthly review of implemented SLAs
- Achieve Customers’ KPI
- Discuss, agree and implemented necessary procedures to be followed by HV Drivers during loading/offloading on Customers’ side.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should have a Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Logistics, Supply Chainor Administration. You must have 3 to 5 years’ experience in transport operations, warehousing, supply chainor administration. You strong have a strong background in data analysis and reporting. Experience with ERP systems and/or Power BI are added advantage!
Candidate with customer centric approach and operationally proactive by nature will be highly needed for this role to ensure daily departmental tasks, routines and resources are available to deliver high quality services. You must have strong communication skills, be a confident decision maker, have excellent leadership skills and be able to influence others. You will be an engaging leader with a skill for developing talent, a drive for result.
