What’s the role about:

Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing complex data in order to identify opportunities and gain insights across Majid Al Futtaim Retail loyalty, managing delivery of timely reports and monthly segmentation models, supporting stakeholders with ad-hoc analysis for acquisition, retention of loyalty members by using advanced analytical techniques such as statistical and algorithmic modeling.

What would we be expecting from you while at work:

    • Mine and analyze large complex data sets by applying statistical techniques to identify critical insights
    • Manage the delivery of segmentation/ churn / propensity models
    • Engage in campaign management processes to provide pre/post analysis
    • Prepare dashboards and visuals summarizing the key outputs
    • Measure ROI of marketing efforts using consistent test and learn tactics
    • Analyze and benchmark internal data and performance with global best practice

Do you think you have these to be the right one?

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

    • BS degree in Applied Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics or other numeric field MS/MBA in quantitative discipline preferred

Minimum experience:

    • 3+ years of experience in applying data science methods to business problems
    • Experience in using statistical languages (SQL, R, Python, etc) to manipulate big data sets
    • Experience data visualization tools (QliKSense, SQL, SAS etc.) – must have

  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Ability to present business case to non-technical audience
  • Strong project management skills
  • Able to solve problems in complex situations
  • Strong technical, analytical and statistical competencies
