Position Overview:

The role of the BU QSE System coordinator will be maintaining and developing where needed all Middle East & North Africa Business Unit Technical data and manage all BU technical governance documents, keep it up to date and available for real-time analysis, communications and reporting to appropriate business partners and functions as part of the overall management system.

Additionally, this position will support the implementation of the new KO Technical Governance Model and the entry in the categories providing support in risk-based assessment tools and BU QSE new processes management.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and update all QSE/technical & information management platforms required to operate efficiently and effectively – this includes QSE requirements, key performance metrics and overall technical information interfaces with Center and bottlers.
  • Proactively support the implementation of the KO Technical Governance Model and metrics by facilitating the simplification of internal processes in the system and the management of the information. Data Analytics and Leading Indicators
  • Be able to create platforms and methods to collect system data and information, analyze and aggregate the Information in a manner that will support decision making at BU TD. Through data Analysis, be able to identify technical risks in a proactive way.
  • Share relevant information regarding quality governance, consumer data, and supplier information. Use the KO tools (Picasso, Coke Works) and be able to provide analysis and feedback to BU users regarding the information status, opportunities to improve data sharing and the tools functionalities.

COMMUNICATION:

  • Escalation of technical risks and risks mitigation plans (Recommender)
  • Communication of the technical performance indicators and implementation of corrective action in case of deviation from goals/targets (Recommender)
  • Bottler/Supplier certification or approvals according to the risk matrix (recommender).
  • Corrective action plans at bottlers operations and BU, escalation of consumer or customer complaints (recommender)

ANALYSIS:

Design the tools to:

  • Accurately collect technical data from the system that will allow statistical analysis, trends analysis and decision making.
  • Interact with bottlers and suppliers in order to maintain a database for quality failures or troubleshooting that will enable the system to manage the risk related to the supply base.
  • Collect, analyze and report the leading indicators

QAULIFICATIONS:

  • Statistics and data analysis, including knowledge of software packages or tools to conduct analysis
  • knowledge and understanding of relevant QESH standards.
  • Moderate knowledge in risk assessment methodologies and continuous improvement techniques
  • Knowledge of management system certifications, specifically ISO 9001 and other required management system certifications;
  • Experience in working in complex manufacturing environment

Skills:

  • Be able to perform the work with a high level of autonomy
  • Well-developed communication & presentation skills (verbal & written)
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural and multi-lingual environment and multiple, distributed locations
  • Flexible and able to work under tight deadlines and pressure.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in an area of Food Engineering/Science.
  • Good knowledge of relevant Quality, Safety and Environment aspects.
  • Good Knowledge of statistics and data analysis, including knowledge of software packages or tools.

Language Requirements:

English (mandatory), Arabic & French (Preferred)
