The role

Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for creating, implementing and executing sales strategy. Your role will involve developing and managing external business partnerships and alliances to drive new growth to Corporate Life and Pensions (CLP).

As the Head of Corporate Life and Pensions in Middle East, your main responsibilities will involve:
Creating, implementing and executing sales strategy
Responsible for achieving annual sales targets
Aggressively seeks new and renewal account opportunities and quarterbacks a team of sales specialists and underwriter resources to facilitate closing the opportunity
Conducts discussions with very large distributors to develop a detailed and accurate distributor profile
Promotes business partnerships/alliances within CLP to maximize success and creation of profits
Creates territory strategy with key distributors that leverage Zurich’s broad range of insurance products and services
Responsible for working with Marketing to develop and implement Marketing Plan
Responsible for cross selling with Zurich business partners and may be a member of the Regional Leadership Team
Develop, lead and manage external business partnerships to maximize contribution to growth

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
15 or more years of experience in Insurance field, especially in Sales and International Employee Benefits
Demonstrated ability to execute effective sales strategies
Leadership experience
Ability to facilitate critical business relationships both to internal and external stakeholders
Strong understanding of insurance industry/global benefits from a market and underwriting perspective
Able to build internal and external relationships that can deliver on the Brand Promise, retention, and close ratios
Ability to identify business trends, changes in market conditions, and competitor activity and adjust strategy
Expertise in the fronting and reinsurance to a captive of global benefit program
Strong Account Management skills
Customer centric
