to provide and maintain the compliance manuals for our AIG Entities located in the MENA to monitor and notify changes / proposed to changes to regulatory requirementsand developments in the regulatory environment; to provide and assist the RCO with the providing of timely and accurate advice and guidance to the business regarding regulatory requirements and AIG corporate compliance policy; to assist with the development of relevant training material; to assist local management with the development of systems and controls for the achievement of compliance with regulatory requirements and AIG corporate compliance policy. to assist the RCO with the preparation of the annual Compliance Monitoring Schedule of AIG Entities located in the MENA; to assist the RCO with the carrying out of the monitoring function in accordance with the Compliance Monitoring Schedule; to provide timely and accurate status reports to the RCO in respect of the monitoring carried out; to provide and assist the RCO with the providing of advice and guidance to local management and other relevant staff regarding necessary remediation of regulatory issues identified through the carrying out of compliance monitoring and other sources; to monitor the progress of remedial actions undertaken in respect of the regulatory issues identified through the carrying out of compliance monitoring and data sources; to maintain the Remedial Actions Log
Experience & Qualifications Required:
Proven management and organisational abilities; in-depth knowledge of the Middle East and North Africa insurance regulators, regulatory frameworks; ability to analyse complex situations / prioritise actions; knowledge of retail and commercial insurance products; and a good understanding of the mechanisms for distributing general insurance products.
