Pricing Manager | Al Futtaim Aftrersales
We are currently looking to recruit a Strategic Pricing Manager for Automotive Aftersales Services in the UAE. Reporting to the Head of Strategical Analytics and Pricing, you will manage the aftersales pricing for parts, tyres, batteries, consumables and accessories with the responsibility of identifying and implementing pricing methodologies in order to create a significant margin increase. You will implement automotive aftersales parts pricing and manage a central source for parts related market intelligence.
Specifically, your key responsibilities are as follows:
Utilize data science (MS Azure, ML Studio, R, Phyton) and data engineering (Alteryz, SQL) to improve efficiencies, improve cost and increase profit margins.
Design and deliver the next generation of Pricing related transformative analytics and artificial intelligence technological solutions to address key business challenges and opportunities
Implement and manage an automotive Group Wide Pricing Strategy
Manage Systems and processes to enable greater price management to increase revenue and margin and improve stock health
Work with Business Units to develop and implement new and more effective Pricing techniques Technologies and processes to increase revenue and customer loyalty
Create tactical analysis and market competitor intelligence to enable business heads to make to inform strategic decision- making
Identify opportunities to change Prices to either improve Volume or margin
Manage an automotive group wide Market Intelligence process
Update comprehensive industry, competitor and customer models including, but not limited to, market share, growth projections and trends, and market forces.
Collate competition data and market trends from internal and external sources and utilize systems and technologies (Web Scrapping, data collection portals, markets surveys, mystery shopping) to influence parts pricing and strategic business decision making
Support the thorough, systematic analysis of key industry trends; the general social economic and political environment; legal and regulatory issues; customers; current and potential competitors to allow effective strategic and tactical decision- making and implementation
Compile review and interpreted sales performance to support the parts sales operation
Set up and manage sales discount margins in line with pricing strategy
Support the quotation to deal process though the use of advanced pricing and quotation tools
Manage dealer loyalty and give detailed report to the sales team to improve dealer purchasing
Manage both dealer rebates and sales person’s incentive via advanced measuring tools
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:
Bachelor’s Degree (MBA Preferred) with demonstrated experience in any of the following: – Business Administration, Economics, Pricing, Procurement and Supplies Management.
Minimum 5 years’ work experience in a multinational environment
Distributor and OEM experience is an advantage
5+ years of hands- on work experience using analytical tools (e.g., R, Python) to solve real world problems
Distinctive expertise in one of the following machine learning / AI areas: natural language processing, deep learning, anomaly detection, graph- based techniques
Experience programming (beyond simple scripts) in a modern scientific language (e.g., Python, Matlab, R) and experience with either TensorFlow, Spark, Java, C#, C++, or C. Knowledge of SQL and SAS would be a plus
Focus on driving commercial results with measurable KPIs
Exceptional communication skills, especially around translating technical knowledge into forms that can be digested by leadership and non- technical project teams
Excellent analytical and problem- solving skills
Highly adaptable with meticulous attention to detail
Excellent organizational abilities
