Axios International is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our team in Dubai. Reporting to the Finance Director, based in Ireland, this role will be responsible for entry of transaction data into the Axios Accounting System (Xero) e.g. purchase invoices, sales invoices, cash and bank transactions, etc. The role holder will reconcile Aged Payables and review for pay runs and prepare files for payment twice a month. (S)He will reconcile all co- payment programs in the MENA region. (S)He will liaise with the outsource provider for monthly management account reconciliations and review and close queries on variances.

The role holder will be responsible to provide all documentation for the VAT submissions and control the quarterly process with the outsource provider and provide input to annual budget coordination and preparation. The successful candidate will have significant input to the annual audit programme and be responsible to review and document existing processes which impact the efficiency of the finance function.

The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA or CPA or equivalent qualified with 2+ years’ post qualification experience, ideally in a multi- geographical environment. Fluency in written and spoken English.
