The purpose of the job is to greet and assist customers with their vehicle concerns and requirements may it be email, phone or walk in. This role is responsible in making sure that all customers are provided with the highest standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving customer’s cars for repair and services:

Ensure that the booked cars / walk in customer’s cars are received as per company’s procedures and standards.

Prepare job card:

Prepare job card, on workshop online system, while using relevant standard operations codes, as far as possible, handover the job card to workshop controller. While preparing job card tally customer details (tel no. & name) with the ones, registered in system and make changes, if needed.

Follow up jobs:

Follow up the job with the workshop controller and check status, from job progress chart, follow the job situation in workshop. Inform customers, of any additional jobs, cost involved and obtain his approval.

Prepare estimates, for complex jobs received in the morning / previously. As per the feedback from workshop, submit the estimate by fax to customer and obtain his approval.

Vehicle delivery: Inform customer of any delay in repairs, with the reasons and promise him revised delivery time. Reply to customers queries, on the status of vehicle.

Telephone operator informs customers, whose vehicles are ready for collection. When customers come to collect their vehicles, job holder informs them the details of invoice and makes delivery.

Reception satisfaction index:

Job holder carries out all his activities, as per the company’s procedures so as to achieve the requisite reception standards and reception satisfaction index.

Goodwill account:

At time, the commitment made to customer can be honoured due to certain reasons.

Generate business:

Job holder makes use of lost customer report, to call the customer not visiting our workshop and explains them the benefits, of doing business with TE.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Bachelor of Arts/Commerce/Science.

Minimum Experience: 6 years in service area of car industry. Out of this, 3 years should be, as receptionist/customer relations, at a reputed car distributor.

Skills: Communication skills, customer care, analysis, planning and organizing.

Job- Specific Skills: PC skills, customer care and basis of automobile service and repairs
