Great opportunity has arisen for a skilled and certified Bus Repair Technician within Volvo FAMCO, Al Futtaim in UAE

Mechanical & Electrical repairs, troubleshoot and diagnosing on buses

Diagnose faults and recommend effective solutions, doing it right the first time.

While attending jobs both in the workshop and the field also proactively identify potential problem cause

Using tools and adopting best practices as mentioned in service manuals so as to improve the productivity and efficiency

Read, understand and implement instructions in workshop manuals. Use Service checklist where applicable and available.

Minimum Experience:

At least 2 to 3 years of direct experience working on buses, Volvo buses is greatly desired

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

At least 2 to 3 years of direct mechanical & electrical repairs, troubleshoot and diagnosing on buses experience working on buses

BKT (Bus Key Technician) Certification from Volvo Bus Corporation is greatly desired

Basic / Technical Education and or Apprenticeship.

Trade Certificate and / or Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering

Must show proven technical expertise in independently servicing, repairs and component overhauls

UAE driving License is an advantage

Purpose:

Technicians should ensure being up- to- date with technical aspects of the product/vehicle and to be able to fix right a problem the first time.

Duties:

Mechanical & Electrical repairs, troubleshoot and diagnosing on buses

Extending 24X7 service support to customers given the stringent requirement from customers for vehicle/bus uptime, delays are to be avoided at all costs

Emergency support in case of breakdowns
