Job Summary
Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes when assigned. Record, store, and/or analyze information using property software when assigned. Organize, secure, and maintain all files and records in accordance with document retention and confidentiality policies and procedures. Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data. Process all payment methods in accordance with Accounting procedures and policies. Follow property control audit standards and cash handling procedures (e.g., blind drops). Control and secure cash and cash equivalents for property according to cash handling policy and procedures. Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies, obtaining change required for expected business level, and keeping bank secure at all times. Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank. Transport bank to/from assigned workstation. Set up and organize cashier workstation with designated supplies, forms, and resource materials; and maintain cleanliness of workstation at all times. Complete opening duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, including bank, and ensuring everything is in working order. Assist in various accounting tasks such as but not limited to stocktaking, spot checks, various reporting daily/weekly/monthly, period-end closing procedures as and when assigned.
Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets; protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers. Address guests’ service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones and emails using appropriate etiquette. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
